Lending A Helping Hand to Louisiana

In August, we responded to the need of those who were affected by the flooding in Louisiana. Our church came together, along side the community and collected a trailer-full of supplies. Barkley Simmons headed up the collection efforts and also delivered the supplies to a local church just outside of Baton Rouge. This church was a designated a donation station where families could come “shop” for what they needed at no cost. Our Youth helped collect supplies and organize and load the trailer.
